Chapter 1: The Shadow in the Satchel

A confident and bright student named Aakriti enters her classroom. She sits down to revise her SST lessons soon. The teacher, Mrs. Bloom, enters and asks for the homework. Aakriti confidently puts her hand inside her bag, but she is shocked to feel only empty air!

Aakriti searching her school bag in a classroom while her teacher looks on, confused after her homework folder mysteriously disappears

She knew that she had kept her folder in her bag, but somehow it suddenly disappeared. The teacher came to her place and asked, "So dear topper, hand me your homework!" She explained the whole thing, but Mrs. Bloom would not believe her. Aakriti had a sinking stomach feeling as everyone stared. Ritika, the observant class monitor, noticed the confused look on Aakriti’s face. Finally, the teacher told Aakriti to submit the homework the next day.

Chapter 2: A Scent of Secret Roses

Aakriti gets home and tells her mom and dad about this mystery. She opens her bag to show that her folder is missing, but—POOF!—the folder is sitting right there on top of all her books.

When she removes it, a sweet floral scent of rose water fills the room. It is very weird! Aakriti’s young sister has an allergy to the smell of rose, so they do not own a single bottle. She starts looking for more clues to know how it disappeared. She decides to connect with Ritika, who is well known for being super observant. Ritika tells Aakriti that she smelt that exact same rose scent on a jacket in the hallway. They decide to become "folder detectives" and set a trap for the next morning.

Chapter 3: The Bloom of a New Friend

They set a trap! They put blue colored chalk dust on the folder's handle to see whose hands turn blue. It camouflaged perfectly, but an art proxy ended up spoiling the plan because it turned into a finger dabbing session! The next day, they try another trap. They leave a note inside the folder saying, "I know what you're doing!" to see whose face turns red. That day, the thief herself comes to tell Aakriti the truth. A girl named Vartika confesses she was a bit jealous and used to steal the folder, only to put it back during dispersal time.

Aakriti kindly asks for her folder back and tells Vartika she will help her become a topper too!

Moral: True success is not about being better than others, but about helping others grow alongside you.
